Join us for a look into history as we present the great music and environment into which the great Paul Robeson (1898-1976) was born. Explore his world of political activism through song. An academic as well as an all-around sports figure, he also tantalized audiences with his resonant bass voice while using his platform to impact change.
We celebrate and honor his great legacy. All tickets and proceeds go to benefit the James Preston Poindexter Foundation.
Featuring internationally acclaimed bass superstar Jimmi Love, with Grammy nominated, Emmy award-winning pianist Bobby Floyd, and violinist Chase Potter. Vicki Saunders, Darchelle Williams and Dolly King are featured as vocalists.
Tickets are $40/general admission & $20/student. Purchase a ticket online or from a James Preston Poindexter Foundation member in the Ohio History Center lobby the day of the event. Please note: tickets cannot be purchased through the Ohio History Center front desk.
