Take the family for a walk along the Freedom Trail on the Stark Parks Iron Horse Trail from Rodman Public Library to the Mabel Hartzell Historical Home. The Friends of Rodman Library will be on hand to greet you at the library entrance to the trail and Historical Society members will be positioned along the path to help you find your way and to explain the many businesses that were located along this path through the old village of Freedom. When you reach the Mabel Hartzell end of the trail, enjoy a free tour of the home and History Mini Museum before heading back to the library. The distance from the library to Mabel’s is about 1 mile; 2 miles round trip.
