Step back in time at the District #9 One-Room Schoolhouse. Built in 1859 as one of ten district schools serving the community, this historic schoolhouse continues to fulfill its educational mission as a place of learning and exploration.
Visitors can sit at authentic student desks, explore historic classroom furnishings, and experience the essential elements of a traditional “old-school” education.
The schoolhouse and grounds will be open for exploration on September 11 and 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Please note: On-site parking is limited; however, parking is available on nearby side streets. Restroom facilities are not available, and the building entrance is not wheelchair accessible.
Bring the whole family for a fun and memorable glimpse into Ohio’s educational past!
