Visitors can experience the village in all its Christmas splendor featuring musical entertainment, horse-drawn wagon rides through town and visits from Kristkind, the German Belsnickel and Santa. Historical interpreters will demonstrate the old ways of preparing holiday foods and wares. Guests can also attend a Saturday church service followed by a traditional tree lighting ceremony in the Historic Zoar Garden at 6 p.m. Shopping opportunities can be found at the Zoar store, Bakery, Bimeler Museum, Gartenhaus Shop and the Stars of Zoar Co-op as well as some privately owned shops.
