How come to know the histories of buildings and places in our communities is through records and research. Explore the closed storage area of government records archive that houses local government records from the founding of Union County in 1820 to present. Visitors will be provided with an overview of the facility and what it holds, what it does, and how it operates. A behind the scenes tour will follow and show visitors how records are stored, managed and preserved for genealogists, historians and future generations. There will be a questions and answers session before and during the tour. Photography in the storage area is prohibited and the aisleways are narrow. Limited capacity of 20 individuals.
