International visitors to this important new exhibition will have the opportunity to appreciate one of the most evocative representations of a human in all of ancient North American Indian art — Ohio’s Adena Effigy Pipe! From Paris, the exhibition will move to the Nelson-Atkins Museum in Kansas City where it will be on display from September 19, 2014 to January 11, 2015. It then moves to The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York from March 2 to May 17, 2015.

As part of our trip, I visited several historic sites and museums in both Paris and London. I will share some of my adventures in future posts. Brad Lepper
