Join us to learn about St. John’s Episcopal Church, founded in 1804 by many of the same individuals who established Worthington. St. John’s, its churchyard, and Township Hall were listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
Explore 222 years of parish history as you tour the churchyard where Abner Pinney became the first person buried in the community cemetery on St. John’s town lot. Visit the nave, where worship services have been held since 1831, and learn more about the historic connections between St. John’s and Worthington.
Guests are invited to enjoy light refreshments during their visit. Whether attending for the first time or returning for another tour, visitors can expect new information and hands-on experiences.
