Comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended and appropriate attire. There are uneven grounds around the cemetery. The architectural walking tour has sidewalks but some uneven in spots. All tours will check-in at the Milan Cemetery's entrance off of 110 S. Edison Dr.

Join us for a unique exploration of Milan’s history, where our community’s residents and their residences come to life. This free and open to the public event will take place on September 13, starting at 1 pm- 3:15 pm. Part I (1 hour) will include an insightful walk through the hallowed grounds of the Milan Cemetery. This will focus on the Edison family graves and the founders of our village and the Milan canal. This offers a deep look at the visionary individuals who built Milan’s legacy.
Part II offers a 1 hour (2:15 pm-3:13 pm) architectural walking tour focused on Milan’s historic structures. Learn to identify 19th century craftsmanship and stylistic evolution, from elegant gables of local homesteads to their enduring foundations.
