2022 Windows of Stories Youth Art Challenge

On May 9, 2022, at 5 p.m. at Ohio History Center, 800 E. 17th Avenue, Columbus we hosted the Poindexter Village Windows of Stories Celebration and Awards Ceremony. The Poindexter Village Windows of Stories challenged Columbus City Schools students to create artwork to honor the history and legacies of Poindexter Village. The selected student artwork will be displayed in the windows during renovations of the Poindexter Village Museum and Cultural Center to celebrate the history of the community and the student's artistic achievements.

We are excited to announce we received 145 student entries from more than 20 schools for the Poindexter Village Windows of Stories contest. During the May 9 event, we will honor and celebrate the students and the rich history of Poindexter Village. The awards ceremony will be hosted by Poindexter Village's very own, Ms. Angela Pace of WBNS-10TV. Windows of Stories is an initiative of the Ohio History Connection and James Preston Poindexter Foundation.
