4-H Collections: Sewing
The Ohio History Connection seeks to shine a spotlight on 4-H and the hard work of Ohio young people by highlighting 4-H collections.
This week the Professional Archaeological Services Team (PAST) started excavations at the Warren G. Harding Home in Marion, Ohio. The goal of the project is to see if they can locate the foundation of a kitchen expansion that was done during Harding’s Presidential campaign. The local newspaper, the Marion Star, visited the site and took a lot of nice pictures of the process. We hope you enjoy them! The crew should be at the site for a few more days so if you are in the area you can see archaeology in action!
