We have an exciting event coming up this week at the Ohio Historical Center in Columbus. Thursday, October 14 we are having a Food Truck-a-palooza! Bring family and friends to the center between 4 and 7 to enjoy some of the finest street food Columbus has to offer! Thursday Oct. 14, 2010 4-7 p.m. Ohio Historical Center, Columbus Here’s some information from our official press release: Maybe it was the old chuck wagon of the Wild West days or perhaps the mobile canteens during World War II. Whichever came first, food vehicles are certainly a part of our history. Food trucks and history come together in one event as the Ohio Historical Center hosts Food-Truck-A-Palooza. Vendors include Leslie’s Creperie, the Lucky Ladle, 3 Babes and a Baker featuring cupcakes, Junior Tacos, Sabadabado BBQ and Mojo Ta Go. Smaller versions of the customer favorites will be for sale, so people have a chance to sample food from several vendors. Diners will be able to enjoy a slide show of historic photographs of Columbus street scenes. Afterwards visitors can see the museum’s exhibits, including The Nature of Ohio and Ohio: Centuries of Change.
Museum admission will be free for this event! So once you’ve had a bite to eat (or more), come inside to see the exhibits.
