The Delhi Historical Society will sponsor the program, “Winemaking in the Westside During the Catawba Craze.”
Held at the historic Delhi Park Lodge at 5125 Foley Rd. The program will be led by historian and author, Dann Woellert, who has earned the title, “Food Etymologist.” Woellert’s latest book, “Cincinnati Wines, an Effervescent History,” relates the amazing story of Cincinnati’s rise in the mid-19th Century’s winemaking industry in the mid-19th Century. A guided tasting of wines will follow the presentation. Free and open to the public, this program will introduce Cincinnati’s heritage of winemaking to a new generation of Ohioans.
