Wildflower Discovery Tour

Enjoy the outdoors on this annual spring hike through the woods and prairie at Fort Ancient with Rick Hoffman and other Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalists. Learn about early spring flowers and plants, a sure sign that spring is here! In accordance with state guidelines, we will wear masks and practice social distancing. Maximum 20 participants. $7/Adult, $6/Senior or Student, Free/Ohio History Connection member. Advance registration required, please call 800.283.8904 to register.

Rick Hoffman is a retired nurse anesthetist who practiced in the Dayton area for 40 years. In 2013, he became an Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist. Currently he volunteers at Glen Helen Raptor Center, Caesar’s Creek Nature Center and Fort Ancient, and has been an active docent at the Dayton Art Institute since 1996.
