Photographer Frederick Ripley, who specializes in the American railroad scene, has created more than 60,000 images since 1988. His photographs of modern railroading in the context of history and tradition will be on view in the solo exhibition, Train Interpretations, at Dublin Arts Council, 7125 Riverside Dr, in Dublin, Aug. 2 through Sept. 10. The images illustrate the railroad’s evolving interaction with its environment in beautiful natural settings throughout the country.
A special Open Doors Open House event will be hosted on Saturday, Sept. 10 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. The artist will be present to speak about his work and answer questions.
