When Ohio became a state in 1803, it was not without conflict! Witness the fiery historic debate waged between territorial Gov. Arthur St. Clair and Rep. This program is part of Ohio Statehood Day. Admission for this special event is offered at no cost. Our grounds and museum will be open between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Performance times for “Debate Over Statehood” will be at 11 a.m., Noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. at the Visitors Center.
