In 1907 Ed “Spot” Miller brought his chuck wagon to downtown Sidney, setting it upon the corner of Ohio Ave. and Court St. City regulations did not allow establishments in this manner (with wheels). So he removed the wheels on his cart and added awnings to the sides to create a makeshift building. Later turning it into a more permanent building. The Spot Restaurant building has seen several make overs but the menu remains much the same as it was 115 years ago.
