Enjoy an open doors day at Hale Farm & Village, a historic living history museum nestled in the heart of the beautiful Cuyahoga Valley! Free admission for the day will include special timed tours of the original 1825 Hale family homestead, ‘Old Brick’, as well as our 1840s village and gardens. Grounds and sites will be open for guests to explore the everyday lives of northeast Ohioans in the 19th century–from dilemmas of frontier living, the struggles of the Abolitionist movement in the 1840s, and the peak of the Hale Inn at the turn of the century. Our historic sites house interactive demonstrations and hands-on activities for all ages, as well as artisan demonstrations like glassblowing, blacksmithing, and hand thrown pottery.
