Join us for a day of living history at our charming schoolhouse, listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 2010. Take a short stroll through the prairie next to the school, where you’ll enjoy a flute tribute to native plants. Inside, you’ll find beautiful photographs of prairie plants on display.
Get involved by pressing apples into cider and indulging in fresh apples and apple treats. Meet frontiersmen reenactors who will share tales from the frontier and try your hand at churning butter or exploring the art of gourd crafting. And, for a bit of fun, our restrooms are upgraded privies, adding a touch of nostalgia to your visit.
