Ohio Humanities, located in the heart of the Franklinton neighborhood of Columbus, will be open as part of Franklinton Friday on September 9th from 6 to 9 pm. Stop by and enjoy some light refreshments while learning more about the work we do to share stories, spark conversations, and inspire ideas. We will be screening “The Lincoln School Story,” an Ohio-Humanities supported documentary about the two-year struggle to desegregate public schools in Hillsboro, Ohio in the wake of the Brown v. Board Supreme Court decision. You can also pick up a free copy of Lumen, our annual magazine. Parking is available on the street and in the public garage located at 260 McDowell Street.
