Fort Ancient, near Lebanon and Oregonia
This is a creative, fun, hands–on activity suited for ages 8 through adult. After looking at a diverse group of examples, we’ll use many sizes, shapes and textures of objects which have personal significance to create a finished mask. These masks reflect the faces of Nature and do not reference Native mask making. A wide variety of natural materials will be available and participants may bring their own supplies, as well. The class will be held outdoors, and all participants will have their own materials, practice social distancing and wear masks to meet state guidelines. Maximum 20 participants. $10 material fee plus site admission: $7/Adult, $6/Senior or Student, Free/Ohio History Connection member. Advance registration required, please call 800.283.8904 to register.
