The Heritage Center of Clark County will be offering a FREE “White Glove” Behind-the-Scenes tour on Wednesday, September 14 from 6:30-8:30pm! This behind-the-scenes tour will allow guests to look at seldom seen artifacts and archival materials in the collections of the Clark County Historical Society. As our guest, you will have a chance to see, touch, and explore some of the things that make up our local history! You’ll get a chance to learn about the interesting stories behind the artifacts and have a chance to ask questions and chat with our curators. See behind closed doors, learn how we care for items that are not on display and find out how everything that we do behind the scenes helps us to fulfill our mission to the community collect, preserve, and interpret the history of the area. This is a two hour event with one hour spent seeing some of the coolest stuff in the collections areas and one hour spent exploring the amazing archives.
The tours are FREE, but due to space constraints are limited to two groups of 20 (40 total). Children 8 and older are welcome with an accompanying adult. RSVP by September 12 by emailing [email protected]
