Enjoy tea made especially for the Hayes Presidential Library & Museums by the Summer Kitchen, lemonade, fruit, tea sandwiches and cake. Learn about Victorian tea traditions. Hydro dip your own cannonball gourd birdhouse that can you take home with you. Pottery Perfection of Fremont will lead the gourd birdhouse hydro dipping. This activity was chosen because Lucy Hayes loved birds. Plastic aprons will be provided to participants. This event is open to all ages. Tickets $35 for non-members and $30 for members. Tickets must be purchased by 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug 13, so that all supplies can be ordered and secured for participants.
