The tour starts at the Southern Ohio Museum, there will be a tour and demonstration of the Scioto Historical App in the Hopkins Theater. This will be followed by a tour of the Art of the Ancients Permanent Collection exhibition at the Museum. The group will then move to Mound Park, approximately 1.4 miles from the Museum, to tour the remains of the Portsmouth Earthworks Complex. There will be a guided tour of Tremper Mound provided by Arc of Appalachia. Lunch will be provided by the Friends of Shawnee State Forest at Earl Thomas Conley Riverside Park.

Shawnee State Park Naturalist will host a hike to the Raven Rock overlook. Free preregistration required.
