Tour the exhibition It Sounds Like Love with the support of an arts professional. The Frank Museum of Art at Otterbein University hosts one of the most unique exhibitions ever to be held in Ohio. The entire artwork is the floor.  This immersive installation takes as its protagonists the sound vibrations of 9 native Ohio prairie seeds in the dry, “dormant state. Yes, these tiny seeds, some no larger than the head of a pin, make sounds. And if you listen carefully….. It Sounds Like Love. This special exhibition is completing is year-long installation at The Frank Museum of Art, and this Open Doors event will be the last opportunity to experience this remarkable installation.

The Frank Museum is a historical building dedicated to global art. The It Sounds Like Love immersive installation is part of Otterbein & the Arts: Opening Doors to the World (ODW) programming, which brings tri-cultural artist Cadine Navarro (her mother is an American from Ohio, her father is French, and she was born and raised in Japan). This ODW climate change exhibition moves us beyond typical narratives about the environment and what counts as “alive” in our world.
