CBS News correspondent, podcaster and TV personality Mo Rocca will return to Fremont to talk about presidential history during the wrap-up of President Rutherford B. Hayes’ 200th Birthday Celebration. Rocca, author of the book “Mobituaries,” will give a presentation during a program beginning at 7 p.m. at the Fremont Ross High School Performing Arts Center. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums Historian Dustin McLochlin, Ph.D., will then interview Rocca about American life and presidential history. Afterward, Rocca will take questions from the audience. The event is at the performing arts center, 1100 North St., because it has a much larger capacity than Hayes Presidential’s auditorium. After the program, Rocca will sign copies of his book, and refreshments will be served. Tickets for the program are $35 for non-members, $32 for Hayes Presidential members and $15 for students. Tickets are available at rbhayes.org/morocca. President Hayes 200th Birthday Celebration is sponsored by Croghan Colonial Bank.
