Interested in pottery? This is the program for you!
Create a clay vessel using self-hardening clay and the coil method of construction similar to how the Adena Culture did 3,000 years ago. Participants will learn how the Adena smoothed the walls of the pots they made using stones and shells. There will be examples available and guidance from the instructor as needed. The class will be held outdoors, weather permitting, so dress appropriately.

General site admission applies for non-members. Regular site admission: $7.00 Adults, $6.00 for seniors & Children (6-17), children under 6 are free.
Instructor – Pam Hall earned her B.F.A. degree from Columbus College of Art & Design in Fine Arts. She went on to receive an M.A. degree in art education from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Since then she has taken many post-graduate and doctoral courses from Xavier University and the University of Cincinnati. Pam has taught art in the public schools for 26 years as well as one year for Warren County MRDD, and 3 years at the Cincinnati Waldolf School. She is currently the Education Specialist at Fort Ancient.
