Earthworks Around the World: Newark, Ireland, Korea and Brazil

Earthworks Around the World: Newark, Ireland, Korea and Brazil

The Newark Earthworks Center at the Ohio State University’s Newark Campus is hosting a series of programs over the next few months that will be of interest to any readers of this blog. The first in the series will be Dr. Christine Ballengee-Morris who will be speaking about “Earthworks Around the World: Newark, Ireland, Korea and Brazil” on Thursday, January 17, at 3:55 PM in the classroom at the back of the Warner Center Library in the Warner Center on the OSU-Newark campus.

Dr. Ballengee-Morris has given presentations about the Newark Earthworks all over the world and has experienced personally the earthworks of Ireland, Korea and Brazil. It will be interesting to learn how Newark’s monumental geometry compares to the earthworks of such disparate cultures.
