COBBLESTONE PAVEMENT DISCOVERED AT BIMELER HOUSE IN ZOAR VILLAGE

Is it a patio, the floor of an outbuilding, or just a dry place to get out of a carriage? Or is it something else entirely? The Ohio Historical Society archaeologists discovered this pavement of cobblestones while monitoring recent construction at the Bimeler House in Zoar Village. You can read about it in an article by Chandler Herson, Linda Pansing and Bill Pickard in the Ohio Archaeological Council’s online journal Current Research in Ohio Archaeology. Check out the article and let us know what you think! Brad Lepper
