An Afternoon with John Ruthven


Cedar Bog Nature Preserve will host “An Afternoon with John Ruthven” on November 1, 2014, from 1- 3 p.m.  In recognition of the 100th anniversary of the death of the last passenger pigeon in captivity, this renowned wildlife artist will discuss the inspiration for one of his latest works, “Martha – the Last Passenger Pigeon”.  Bob Glotzhober, Natural History Curator Emeritus for the Ohio History Connection, will also share the ongoing struggle for survival of Cedar Bog, home to many endangered and threatened species of flora and fauna.
