Description: The office of the state architect and engineer maintained records concerning restoration of the administration building and Galloway tower on the campus of Central State University after the April l974 tornado in Xenia. The records contain: blueprints, certificates of insurance, correspondence, contracts, escrow agreements, inspection reports, job progress reports, mylar reductions of drawings, payment vouchers, space requirement charts, and specifications. The records also include a campus planning study contract, a proposal for construction of a new gymnasium, and earlier correspondence (l967-l968) concerning construction of a proposed administration building.
