The Division of Liquor Control is an entity within the Department of Commerce. Liquor Control operates the state liquor monopoly, issues permits for the manufacture, sale and distribution of all alcoholic beverages, and enforces all provisions of the Liquor Control Act and penal laws relating to alcoholic beverages. The Director is an officer of the State.
