The Auditor of State audits all public offices in Ohio, supervises school and ministerial lands, and is responsible for making monthly distributions of state revenues set by the General Assembly to Ohio cities, villages, counties, townships, school districts, libraries and state-supported institutions of higher education. The offices of the Auditor of State are distributed into nine regions under the supervision of the chief deputy auditor. The Auditor of State serves on a number of boards and commissions, including retirement systems and is president of the Sinking Fund which adminsters the consitutional debt.
