The Ohio Local History Alliance (The Alliance) makes history an integral part of the lives of Ohio's citizens by providing training opportunities and services to all the state's historical organizations. Organized under the sponsorship of the Ohio Historical Society, OAHSM leads the effort to preserve and promote Ohio's local history through its statewide network of large and small historical organizations, representing historical societies, history museums, historic preservation groups, and genealogical societies.
To better serve its membership, OAHSM is divided into ten regions covering the entire state of Ohio. It has a board of nine officers, an executive secretary (ex officio), and twenty regional representatives, whose names and addresses are as follows:
