The Ohio Historic Preservation Office moved to new offices in the Ohio Historical Center in March
2009. Please send submissions to the new address:
1982 Velma Ave., Columbus, OH 43211-2497. Telephone (614-298-2000) and fax (614-298-2037) numbers
will remain the same.
In our new location, please note the following regarding visiting the Ohio
Historic Preservation Office. The office is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday
through Friday. Parking at the Ohio Historical Center is free to Ohio Historical Society members
and $4 for all others except those coming to the center to meet with staff. Parking fees will be
collected at the main ground level entrance. On Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, when the museum
and Archives/Library at the Ohio Historical Center are not open, visitors may use the entrance
intercom to be admitted. Staff will then notify the historic preservation office of a
visitor.
