The location of this street is not known (even the photographer, Albert B. Graham, wrote on the back "don't know where"), although many of the signs are legible and the clock tower on the building in the center seems distinctive.
On the right side of the street, just beyond the pole, is the Credit Clothing Co., the Owl Drugstore, Will A. Jones Racing Handicapper, and something for "$1 a week at 511 Walnut St". The small park like area across the street from these business (on the left side of the image) houses a large statue or fountain with what appear to be figures of people standing on a bowl-shaped platform. The clock tower building also has the letters CH&D Ry in the windows three floors down from the top.
