Scope and content: The Barnhardt Family Photograph Collection contains ninety- four black and white photographs of various sizes that span the years from ca. 1875 to 1925 and occupy one-quarter
cubic foot. The collection is arranged into four subjects: men, women, children, and groups. Few of the people in the photographs are identified but presumably they are members of the Barnhardt family of Marysville, Union County, Ohio.
Among the photographs are three cartes-de-visite and thirty-five cabinet cards depicting standard portraiture of the period. Included with the group pictures are views of the full immersion baptisms of Mary and Thomas Barnhardt, April 1890; and Barnhardt Family reunions, 1904 and 1914.
