Food, family, fun, and FREE!

The streets of Ohio Village, a recreated 19th-century community, will be lined with the best mobile food in the state. The best deal: the Ohio History Center and Ohio Village will be FREE during the festival (only $6 parking per car)! Check out the Facebook event page!

Local musicians will perform center food-truck-small-2.jpgstage and games and activities for all ages will be scattered throughout the grounds. Visitors can tour the museum, including the new exhibit, "1950s: Building the American Dream."

11 am-4 pm, 1950s Family Weekend: Food and Candy
Ohio History Center
Try hands-on activities related to the new exhibit 1950s: Building the American Dream. Sample 1950s food and candy (Span, yummy!) spam, make macaroni art (a trendy 1950s activity), and play 1950s toys and games.

1 and 3 pm: Echoes in Time Theatre
Ohio History Center
"Originally Known as Adelphia or Brotherhood: The Founding of Marietta, Ohio"
Hear a settler recount how Marietta, the first organized settlement in the Northwest Territory.

2 pm, Native American Tribes from Ohio
Ohio History Center
Celebrate Native American Day in Ohio! The Ohio Historical Society is actively building relationships with the federally recognized Native American tribes from Ohio. Hear from museum staff and representatives of the Shawnee and Wyandotte tribes discuss these projects and the tribes' ongoing work to preserve their cultures.
