The Ohio History Center in Columbus will host The Wall That Heals, a 250-foot replica of the original memorial in Washington, D.C. The Wall That Heals is part of the first state-level commemoration of Vietnam Veterans Day in Ohio after Governor John Kasich signed Vietnam Veterans Day, officially March 30, into law in 2012.
From Tuesday, March 26 to Friday, March 2

- The Wall That Heals will be open 24 hours a day and admission is free.
- The Ohio History Center Museum will be free and open to the public, 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.

Location: Ohio History Center - 10 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.: Opening ceremony
Location: Ohio History Center - 11 a.m. – 12 p.m., plus: 30-minute Q and A
Panel discussion of both combat and support veterans
who will describe their experiences in the war.
Location: Ohio History Center - 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.: Veterans history project
Living history interviews of veterans.

Second panel discussion takes place, focusing on the Vietnam POW experience.
Location: Ohio History Center - 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m., plus: 30-minute Q and A
Third panel discussion takes place, focusing on the women veterans’ experience.
Location: Ohio History Center - 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.: Veterans history project
Living history interviews of veterans.
Location: Ohio History Center - 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.: Evening reception
Reception dinner (cost TBD) and guest speakers.
