Day
1 Neil Armstrong Air and Space Museum
(OHS) 800-876-2918 Wapakoneta (Auglaize County) Named in
honor of Neil Armstrong, first man to set foot on the moon, this museum
tells of Ohio's contributions to the history of space flight. Among the
items on display are the Gemini VIII spacecraft, Apollo 11 artifacts and a
moon rock. Try your hand at the site’s space shuttle and lunar landing
module simulators.
Lunch at Allisten Manor

Piqua Historical Area (OHS)

County) The Piqua Historical Area State Memorial celebrates two
thousand years of Ohio's rich history from prehistoric Indians to Ohio's
canal era. The high point of your tour will be a relaxing ride on the
mule-drawn canal boat - the General Harrison of Piqua!

Piqua. Drive to Zanesville the next day.
Day 2 National Road/Zane Grey Museum(OHS)

about the National Road, early America's busiest land artery to the West,
through exhibits which include dioramas and artifacts. The museum also
features exhibits about Zane Grey and Ohio Art pottery.

Ohio River Museum (OHS)
800-860-0145 Marietta (Washington County) At the Ohio River
Museum, the golden age of the steamboat is featured through exhibits and
video presentations. Outside of the museum, on the Muskingum River, take
an escorted tour of the W. P. SNYDER JR.-- the last intact steam-powered,
stern-wheeled towboat in the United States.

Marietta (Washington County) The Campus Martius Museum highlights
migration in Ohio's history. The exhibit Paradise Found and Lost:
Migration in the Ohio Valley, 1850-1970 goes beyond Ohio's early
settlement. It explores the movement of many rural Ohioans to cities
between 1850 and 1910, and the people from Kentucky and West Virginia into
Ohio's industrial centers.
