is the Ohio Historical Society’s premier American Indian museum. On site
is an amazing prehistoric Indian garden, filled with plants that helped to
sustain these ancient people. A guide describes the gardening practices
and the foods made from these plants. After your special tour of the
gardens you will want to see the museum as well as the prehistoric mounds
located on this scenic historical site that overlooks the Miami River
Valley.

Adena: The Home of Thomas Worthington

first stop on your tour through Chillicothe, Ohio's first capital. The
newly restored mansion is home of Ohio’s 6th governor and first senator
Thomas Worthington. Don’t miss the vegetable, perennial and kitchen
gardens, orchard and grove as well as the new Museum and Education
Center.

2 Robert Rothschild Farm 800-356-8933 Urbana

Rothschild Farm. See a modern production facility that produces some of
the world's most famous gourmet foods; fields of raspberries; three acres
of formal English herb gardens and a 4200-square foot Market Café. You
will also have the option to choose special tours that include the
Raspberry Sundae tour or the Gourmet Indulgence.
Cedar Bog Nature Preserve

County) Just on the west side of Urbana, Ohio will be your final stop
of the trip. This bog is the largest and best example of a boreal and
prairie fen complex in Ohio. It has many rare plants and animals, as well
as excellent orchid, prairie, and woodland wildflower displays. Your guide
will point out such spectacular seasonal beauties as the Lady’s Slipper
orchid.
