Bring Cedar Bog Into Your Classroom!
Supplement a class visit to Cedar Bog - or explore information about
the site without ever making a visit with our Cedar Bog Loan Kit. (See
loan information below.) 
The kit includes information about Cedar Bog and its modern-day plants
and animals and also covers the Ice Age that helped to form Cedar Bog.
Items included are: Teachers Guide booklet; Student Booklet; Duplication
masters for student handouts; a poster about Fens; A 15 minute video on
"Ice Age Ohio"; a life-size reproduction spotted turtle (shown
above); a reproduction mammoth tooth; a reproduction giant beaver incisor;
a modern beaver skull for comparison; and a bottle of marl.
 
All this in a padded suitcase that can be picked up or shipped
by mail. (Shipping to you is paid for by the Ohio Historical Society,
you must pay return postage -- approximately $7 to $10).
