JAMES MINARY TO WORTHINGTON North Point Dec 23d. 1811 Dear Sir I received your letter of the 11th Inst which give me much satisfaction to find the strick measures that your honourable body have taken in the adjustments of our rights. We have no news of importance about the indians. I would just remind you of the report of the Committee of foreign Relations for filling the ranks of the pressent army you write me that you fear that it will be war. I now pray you to bare with me whilst I beg a favour of you to recommend me to the board of war and try to procure to me a Commission to rank as Colo. or Major. if it is agreable with you as I believe that your word woud do more than all by Bigade - give my best respects to Mr. Campbell our Neighbours are all well.
