Lower Stdusky August 13th 1812

Brothers listen the reason of my not attending to the counsel fire of the seventeen united states of the great misfourtune that has passed to the principal of nattions and cheifs which received at the big rock the British has done too much here

Brother -- I hope you now will listen to me that you will imedently send on to me men to build a garrison large enough to hold the Windots Senacca and [illeg.] at my town upper sandusky

Brothers you promised me that as soon as you heard from me that you would rise up and asist us

Brothers I am informed and anxietys is come on I would wish you would send the amunition on to protect our women and clildren.

Brothers if our anuities is not come on you must send us some amunition and provisions as you promised me

Brothers I hope you will listen you will choose the ground or place for to build Block houses or garrison for wariers to defend their selves and not look on us as another nation but of the same oppinion of you.

Brothers listen you promised in any atack of any people to hurt my people that you would asist I now hope you wil assist us

Brother my reason for sending in a [illeg.] to you was I expect we will trouble very soon
