Nov. 9th. A writ of Dedimus Potestatim was issued to George Gordon John Beasly & John Belli Esquires to administer the oaths of office in the County of Adams. -- Nov. l0th. Oliver Spencer was appointed Recorder of Deeds for the County of Hamilton vice George Gordon resigned. - November 16th. license was issued to Joseph Waters of the County of Hamilton to keep A ferry for one year A Cross the Ohio from his Piantation between Red Oak and straight Creek nearly opisit to Less creek Station. Dec. llth. License was granted to Richard Ferrel of the County of Knox to Keep a ferry for one year over the Ohio from his Plantation (near the Six Mile Island above the falls) to the opiset Shore in the State of Kentucky. - Dec. l4th. An enumeration of the Inhabitants in the County of Wayne having com to hands of the Governor |
