September the 18th. 1796 The Governour appointed John Armstrong Esquire the Treasurer of the Territory.

Sepr. the 19th. 1796 The Governour appointed Danl. McCann Surveyor of the County of Randolph And appointed Robert Buntin to issue Licenses to Per- sons recommended to keep Taverns in Knox County.

Sepr. 20th. 1796 The Governour appointed William Arundel Clerk of the Circuit Court for the County of St. Clair. John S. Ganoe Clerk of the same Court for the County of Hamilton -- and also to issue Licenses to persons recommended to keep public houses.

Sepr. 21st. 1796 The Governour appointed Benjn. Tues[?] Gillman Clerk of the Circuit Court for Washington County & to give Licenses to persons recommended to keep public Houses

September the 22d. 1796 The Governour appoin- ted Daniel Symmes Esquire Clerk of the General Court.

Novr. 15th. 1796 Governour St. Clair absent, a License for keeping a Ferry over the Ohio river was granted to Nathan Ellis for the Term of one Year -- from the Landing nearly opposite the house where he now resides in
