The Ohio Trustworthy Information Systems Handbook is based on the work of the Minnesota Historical Society State Archives' Trustworthy Information Systems Project. The project was funded by a grant from the National Historic Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC).

The Ohio Electronic Records Committee acknowledges and appreciates the Minnesota State Archives project staff for their effort in developing a TIS Handbook and the NHPRC for their funding of the original Minnesota based project.
