Celebrate 2,000 years of Ohio's rich history from Native American mounds through Ohio's canal era. The peaceful 250-acre site includes the John Johnston farm, where you can tour the home and several outbuildings to gain an understanding of Ohio in 1829. A museum that traces the story of the Eastern Woodland Indians in Ohio and a mule-drawn ride on a replica canal boat on a restored section of the Miami and Erie Canal complete the visit to this place of discovery for all ages.
