This park is closed during severe weather conditions. In addition, the hiking trails at Fort Hill are closed for certain dates during the deer hunting season in November through January. Please contact the site manager for additional information
Hiking regulations:
Hikers, please take note that Fort Hill has backcountry trail conditions. Trails are primitive, uneven and narrow at times. Spring rains can make muddy hiking conditions. Please check with the site manager [brian.truitt@frontier.com] if you suspect hazards due to weather. Before coming in the fall/winter, be sure to check dates the hiking trails are closed for deer hunting.
Dogs are allowed on a leash
Picnic tables and latrine toilets on site
No fishing or collecting/picking of any plants or animals
Fort Hill is a protected natural area. Regulations require that hikers remain on the trails. Harvesting or disturbing plants and animal life is not permitted. Fishing is not permitted. Dogs are allowed, but must be kept on a leash at all times.
