Sports: Breaking Records, Breaking Barriers, created by The Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History, is the featured exhibit on display at the Ohio Historical Center from February 8 – April 22, 2007. This one-of-a-kind exhibition offers you the opportunity to view up close the objects that represent our nation’s sporting past. Organized into six perspectives:

  • Olympians
  • Game Makers
  • Barrier Removers
  • More Than Sports Champions
  • Superstars

This exhibit is guaranteed to appeal to athletes and sports fans of all ages. Come explore these famous athletes’ personal items as you catch a glimpse into their love of sports, their relationship with the media, and the impact they’ve had on society-at-large.
