Outreach
The National History Day in Ohio staff is available to come out to your classroom. Outreach services include:
NHD-OH staff is available to come to your school and present to students on a variety of topics such as: Introduction to NHD, Research Journey, Tips for Creating Projects. Presentations can be tailored to meet your class needs. Staff can also provide feedback or consultations with students on their projects.
Cost : $10 per presentation + $0.40 per mile.

Outreach can also be done via webinars with students and can cover much of the same material as an in-person visit. Email the state office to schedule a webinar with your class.
Cost: $10 per presentation.
Workshops
National History Day in Ohio conducts a number of workshops during the school year and introductory sessions.

Webinar
NHD-OH can provide outreach to your classroom via the internet. Presentations on a variety of topics can be done online for you or your students.

Field Trips
NHD-OH also hosts History Day focused field trips to the Ohio History Center. They can be customized to your schedule and needs. Download a sample agenda here.
There must be 1 chaperone for every 10 students.
